Mahila Mandali - Introduction
Mahila Mandali, established in 1948 in Basavanagudi, one of Bangalore South’s oldest and most culturally rich neighborhoods, was founded by a group of visionary women. The organisation aims to promote educational programs and cultural values among women and children in the community. It continues to be guided by a dedicated committee of women who generously offer their services in an honorary capacity.
Under its wing, Mahila Mandali Vidya Samsthe was founded in 1952 with a mission to provide quality education to children, making it a notable Bangalore school. Over the decades, it has grown into a respected institution with a strong and enduring presence in the field of education.

Mahila Mandali Vidya Samsthe, a prominent Bangalore school affiliated with the Karnataka State, began its journey with the Nursery section in 1952. Over the decades, this institution has expanded its educational programs to include Primary, Montessori, and High School sections in Bangalore South. Today, MMVS is dedicated to the holistic development of its 500 students through a diverse range of co-curricular activities.
