Mahila Mandali - Introduction
Mahila Mandali was established in 1948 in Basavanagudi, one of Bangalore’s oldest and most culturally rich neighborhoods. Founded by a group of visionary women, the organisation was created to promote educational, social, and cultural values among women and children in the community. It continues to be guided by a committed committee of women who generously offer their services in an honorary capacity.
Under its wing, Mahila Mandali Vidya Samsthe was founded in 1952 with a mission to provide quality education to children. Over the decades, it has grown into a respected institution with a strong and enduring presence in the field of education.

Mahila Mandali Vidya Samsthe, affiliated to Karnataka State, began with the Nursery section in 1952. Over the decades, the institution expanded to include Primary, Montessori, and High School sections. Today, MMVS supports the holistic development of its 500 students through a diverse range of co-curricular activities.
